It's been two years since Codey's parents were murdered. He assumes
all his problems stem from their deaths and his forced move from the busy city to Pennsylvania farm country. Then he
hears the voice in the woods, and the phone calls begin.
Someone has followed him from the city, someone who knows all about the murders
and has come to make Codey pay for what he's done. Codey struggles to remember what happened the night his parents died,
but the memories are hidden in the darkness of his mind, a darkness that has devoured more than just one night.
Codey soon learns he must dredge up all the horrible memories of his past,
but can he discover the truth before he loses everyone he has learned to love, and his life?

Whispers of Insanity by T. C. McMullen Booklocker
Reviewed by Annette Gisby, author of Silent Screams and Shadows of the Rose.
Codey Matthews is a very troubled seventeen year-old. After the murder of his parents, he is sent to live with two brothers,
Vince and Brett, who he hardly knows.
Suffering from nightmares, Codey finds it difficult to know what's real and what isn't. He can't remember the night his
parents were murdered, but his guitar was found at the scene, covered in his mother's blood and sometimes he wonders if he
was there and has blanked it out.
And who is the man he keeps remembering? A man with eyes like his own, but who likes to hurt people, kill people? Codey
starts getting strange phone calls, feels like someone is watching him all the time, his best friend turns up murdered, Codey
himself is attacked and his new girlfriend Stevie is abducted...
Whispers of Insanity is a very fast moving thriller, which keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Codey's
angst and confusion over his parents' death is handled very well. He's a very sympathetic character and you worry along with
him. No one seems to want to believe him at first, that the killer is out there and very real.
The secondary characters are all well drawn too and the descriptions are vivid bringing the story to life. The identity
of the killer is a very good twist, but anymore than that I don't want to give away.

I haven't been so affected by a book since I read John Grisham's "The Chamber." T.C. McMullen has a gift.
I was so taken by Whispers of Insanity that I am still looking over my shoulder and wondering if there are spooks under my
bed. Whispers holds you until you finally finish it. You always wonder if the hero is going to come out ok.
They usually do, but you are on your toes until the very end with this book.

Reviewer: TkDrain from WV | Whispers of Insanity is a
great psychological thriller. It kept me wondering who the man was that was coming after Codey. I can honestly say that most
books I start reading I never finished. This one I had to finish. If you like books that keep you in suspense but is not too
scary this is the book for you.

Reviewer: A reader from PA, USA | This
was a easy reading book. It held my attention the entire time. My heart was even pumping for awhile. It left me wanting more.
The only flaw to the book was the first chapter. I found it hard to read and thought that maybe it wasn't needed. Overall
I thought is was a very good book and I'm waiting for the author's next one.

I really liked this book. Anyone who likes thrillers that are not too scary, but make you look over your shoulder should
enjoy it.

| Great book. I couldn't put it down. Just waiting
to see what would happen next made it a great page turner. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to be a little
scared, but not horrendously scared.
